Temple Contemporary is a 3,400-square-foot art gallery located on the first floor of the Tyler School of Art and Architecture at Temple University. Serving as a public space, it aims to be a beacon for art, architecture, and community imagination. The gallery hosts lectures, presentations, exhibitions, and public projects that connect Tyler to the greater Philadelphia community. It also features the Edgar Heap of Birds Family Gallery, focusing on Native American art programming, and runs the Creative Scholars Program, a year-long, full scholarship art program for talented high school students in the School District of Philadelphia.
